“My work embodies energy and movement.  It ‘Elevates your Everyday’ experience of a meal or a cup of coffee to a ritual of celebrating the moment.   I find beauty in the organic richness of form and feel, and my sculpture and functional work both express this.  My joy in the process comes from making a piece perfectly imperfect by emphasizing the asymmetry, embracing my touch, and celebrating the uniqueness in each piece.”

David Pinto’s  work includes wall art installations, sculpture, slab built production of altered functional tableware, and one-of-a-kind basins and sconces.  Work was purchased by the National Gallery of Jamaica for their permanent collection in 1995.  Appointed to the Board and the Exhibitions Committee of The National Gallery Of Jamaica, 1998.  Work donated to the National Gallery as part of the Arron Matalon Collection, 1999. Honored with invited status for the Annual National Exhibitions 2000 carried over to National Biannual Exhibitions of the National Gallery 2003 to present.
